The Idaho Falls Chapter meets twice each month.
A daytime meeting is held every 1st and 3rd Monday at the Bonneville County Extension Office located at 2925 Rollendet, Idaho Falls, ID 83402. To view a map of the location click here. Meeting times are 1:00PM in the downstairs meeting room. We start the meetings off with a discussion of old and new IWL business and usually have plenty of time to critique. Join us to learn more about IWL and feel welcome to bring your current works for our readings. We are open to all genres- so don't be shy come give IWL a try.
An evening critique meeting is held every Wednesday evening at Gary Townsend's home. Call 552-9421 for directions. Meeting times are from 7:00PM to 9:00PM. We don't discuss any business on Wednesday nights--just critique whatever anybody brings. We ask that you bring eight copies for us to critique. This Wednesday night group gets a lot accomplished & also meets the needs of those who can't come to our Monday afternoon meetings. Also, the comraderie is great--everybody trying to help each other improve their writing.
