The Coeur d'Alene/Sandpoint Chapters combined event.
AN INVITATION TO:
WHO: The Members and non-members of the Sandpoint Chapter of
the Idaho Writers League and those interested in writing in the
Sandpoint and Coeur d'Alene areas are invited to join with the
Coeur d'Alene Chapter for
WHAT: A WRITING SAMPLER and LUNCHEON
WHEN: Saturday, June 1st from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
WHERE: The Coeur d'Alene Resort Conference Center
on the Lake
WHY: It is about exploring writing as a career, a delightful
hobby, networking, meeting new friends and strengthening
present friendships.
While this event is for and about writers, it is also meant to
encourage both area newcomers and residents interested
in writing to attend and perhaps join either the Sandpoint
or Coeur d'Alene chapter.
HOW: The program will feature several well-published
Inland Northwest authors of different genres. They are:
Laurie Winn Carlson
Claire Rudolf Murphy
John Dalmas
Mona Vanek
Brandilyn Collins
They will speak on such topics as Write Your Family History,
Break Into the Children's Book Market, What's Happening
With Christian Mysteries and much more. The last 45 minutes
of the day, there will be time to visit with the authors, ask
questions, purchase autographed copies of their newest books,
visit and network with new and old friends.
Featured speakers are Historian Robert Singletary and
Dr. Steven Bunnell
The cost for this opportunity is $15 for members and
$25 for non-members. Pre-registration is required. For
